Services

We offer a complete range of wellness, preventative and diagnostic services for your pet.

Puppy and Kitten Exams:

We recommend any newly adopted puppy or kitten be examined at a young age to assess their health.  Once they are examined, we can recommend or begin their appropriate vaccine series. All puppies and kittens will be dewormed and parasitic status evaluated.

Comprehensive Wellness Exams:

Annual exams are important to help ensure the health of your pet.  At your pets comprehensive exam, we will assess your pets general health status and administer necessary vaccines against life-threatening diseases.  We will also perform a microscopic fecal examination to identify certain internal parasites.

Senior/Geriatric Exams:

Early disease detection is important for a better response to treatment.  At comprehensive senior examinations, we will assess the general health of your older pet, and detect potential health problems before they become more difficult and expensive to treat. We may recommend bloodwork and discuss options for preventative care and pain management (such as with arthritis). Geriatric pets should ideally be examined every 6 months, especially those with known chronic health issues (such as heart disease).

Dental Services:

Your pets teeth need care too! With our dental unit, we can clean and polish your pets teeth.  In addition, we can perform all necessary extractions and minor oral surgery.  Our digital dental radiography can further help us in evaluating your pets oral health.

Diagnostic Services:

Our in-house laboratory tests include standard serum chemistry and complete blood counts.  In addition, we can test heartworm, lyme, feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) status.  Through in-house microscopic examination, we can test for intestinal parasites and test for external parasites through skin scrapings.  An outside laboratory is used for more specialized testing.  Our in-house diagnostic imaging includes radiography (x-rays) and digital dental radiography.

Surgical Services:

Our surgical services include, but are not limited to, spay, neuter, growth removal, abdominal surgeries, and certain orthopedic procedures.

Microchip Identification:

Microchips are small chips implanted underneath your animals skin for permanent identification. Each chip carries a unique number, which once registered with the microchip agency, can be used to identify your pet.  In the unfortunate circumstance that your pet is lost and taken to an animal shelter, this unique number will assist in bringing your pet back home.

Pharmacy:

For those pets requiring medication, we provide a well-stocked pharmacy.  We also carry heartworm preventatives, flea and tick preventatives, ear medications, and shampoos.

Prescription Diets:

We offer a variety of prescription diets for the specific needs of your pet. Please ask your veterinarian for an appropriate dietary recommendation.
